Androids are beings capable of superhuman abilities, it's no wonder why the IPA rightfully fears them and configures their units solely for data analysis.  While you too have a healthy fear of these extraordinary machines, you are aware of the advantage of having even a single Android on your side. Medics have been trained to provide life support to all beings, even those whose life is entirely artificial. Perhaps the med bay can perform a more thorough diagnostic to see if this unit is worth saving.
