> (03:15) Inspect Core

There's a reason why there are so many injuries in trade schools specializing in power core manipulation. Those who are careless immediately find themselves with third degree burns at best, and missing limbs at worst. Coincidentally, there's also a reason why there so many medical schools placed directly next to these trade schools. It is apparent that the power core has been treated to months of neglect, and has begun to burn through it's casing. It would take a bit of time to remove it safely. Simply yanking it out could work as the casing still has some integrity to it, though there's a much greater risk of injury here.
